The Manasquan River winds through the park offering a habitat for more than 200 species of wildflowers and other trees and plants, as well as native wildlife. The diversity of the wildlife and natural beauty of the park draw canoeists, fisherman, hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders from all over to enjoy the numerous trails in the park. Not far away, the Manasquan Reservoir offers a variety of outdoor activities for everyone and even offers canoe and paddleboat rentals.
